Finding help when you need it can be one of the biggest challenges of caregiving. Community Senior Services has programs to provide you with support, information and assistance.
Caregiver Education Workshops
Attend workshops that provide tools to increase self-care, enhance caregiving skills, and explore resources. Workshops are offered free to caregivers.
Caregiver Support & Discussion Groups
Meet to share information and to network with other caregivers in your community. Our support groups provide a friendly environment to discuss challenges, share information, and make friends. Support groups are offered free to caregivers.
Family Consultation & Care Planning
Schedule an appointment with a case manager to discuss options, problem-solve, and to learn about available resources. Care planning consultation and assessment is provided free to caregivers.
In-Home Respite Companions
We provide referrals for in-home respite companions for pre-scheduled visits with loved ones allowing caregivers to take time for themselves.
Program funding provided by the San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services and the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging from funds made available under the Older Americans Act received by the Counties. Additional funding and support is provided by Inter Valley Health Plan and Pilgrim Place.
